Anybody who knows me knows I love coffee and coffee shops. They also know I’m incredibly good looking and probably the greatest lover on Earth. Maybe the greatest lover to have ever lived. You know what, let’s forget the review and just focus on how great of a lover I am. What’s that? Pass? Your loss.
Kit Coffee is the newest, coolest, coffee shop in Newport Beach. If you took Kinfolk Magazine and Cereal Magazine and then stuck them in a blender with a coffee shop, you’d get a giant pile of shredded paper and concrete and basically junk. But if you did it metaphorically, you’d get Kit Coffee. Want to look like you’re eating inside a Kinfolk editorial? This is the place for you. Need some great Instagram photos? Right here, baby.
And while a lot of places tend to be style over substance, Kit Coffee backs it up. They serve Coava Coffee, which comes from Portland so you know it’s cool. And while their coffee is perfectly adequate, their London Fog is where it’s at. They also serve a small selection of food that fits 100% with the ambiance. And by that I mean they serve avocado toast, because look at the place. Of course they serve avocado toast. What else are you going to take that overhead picture of to post on Instagram? Your feet?

Tips: Get the London Fog. The Avocado Toast and Cilantro Bacon Fried Rice were also pretty great, as were the Cinnamon Sugar Brulee Toast and Sweet Matcha Brulee Toast. Basically everything except the mocha was good. Don’t get the mocha.
