This was my first time seeing the Viking Truck so I figured I’d give it a try. I guess their specialty is corn dogs, but I didn’t figure this out until after I ordered my bratwurst, so I have no idea if they’re any good. I wonder why corn dogs though. It’s not really the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Viking Truck. I guess serving giant horned hats and fur capes wouldn’t be as practical. Or as edible.
$6.99 Odin (smoked bratwurst, bacon, cheddar cheese, sauerkraut, red cabbage, viking ketchup, spicy mustard) – This thing was pretty satisfying, but I had a really tough time fitting the whole thing in my mouth. At one point all of my toppings fell off onto the table, but instead of crying like a little girl I just scooped it all back onto my brat and ate it. Like a boss. And by ‘like a boss’ I mean I’m pretty sure I accidentally ate some bird pooop.
