I was in Huntington Beach because my friend had a work conference thing and dragged me along. I had time to kill while she was busy being all adult-like so I decided to get some breakfast. And according to Yelp, if you’re in Huntington Beach and looking for breakfast, Sugar Shack Café is the place you want to be. A lot of other people also know this information, so get ready for a wait. They serve pretty standard brunch stuff, but who cares about the food, because the only reason anybody actually comes here is to watch girls in bikinis walking to and from the beach. Er, uh, except for me. I came for the food. And for, uh, the articles.

The Keppler
By far the most popular dish here is the Keppler, which is their take on Eggs Benedict. They swap out the poached egg for scrambled eggs, replace the Canadian bacon with regular bacon, and then throw in a tomato and some avocado. So it’s basically what I would make if somebody told me to make Eggs Benedict, because how the hell do you cook a poached egg? Also, tomatoes and avocados make everything better. That’s a fact you can probably look up on Wikipedia.
