Chicken Di Giorgio (crusted escalope of chicken topped with a fresh tomato/garlic/basil sautee and buffalo mozzarella)
Is there anything better than a good sandwich? I mean, besides a sports car. Or a puppy. Or, well, a whole of other things that are better than sandwiches. Look, the point I’m trying to make is sandwiches are yummy. And Harry’s Deli does a good job at making them yummy. Relatively tucked away in an Irvine business park, Harry’s Deli is one of those “we’re only open during lunch hours” kind of places because their sandwiches are too good to be available all day. Which is probably a good thing, because otherwise I’d be here at all sorts of weird hours throwing money at the workers and demanding they fill my mouth with delicious ingredients squeezed between slices of bread. The way it is now I just show up in the middle of the night, see that they’re closed, and go home crying.

Pulled Pork Sandwich – The pork is juicy, the sauce has a good bite, and the coleslaw balances it out nicely. Probably one of only a handful of pulled pork sandwiches where I deem the meat flavorful and moist enough to go in my mouth. I feel like there’s a sex joke to be made here but I’m not clever enough to make it. Penis! Did I do that right?

Nondescript storefront. If you weren’t looking for the place you probably wouldn’t notice it.
