My cousin knows Taiwan, so when she told me this was the best place to get cold sesame noodles I figured I should probably come here and get cold sesame noodles. This place isn’t in the main touristy part of Taipei, so if you’re unfamiliar with the language you might have a difficult time. Prepare to do a lot of pointing and gesturing. Luckily, pretty much everybody is ordering the same thing so odds are you’ll end up with the right dish even if you have no idea what you’re doing. I let my cousin handle the ordering and the seating and pretty much everything else, since my Mandarin is so bad whenever I use it Taiwanese people feel sorry for me and just reply back in English. I know she ordered cold sesame noodles, but I’m not sure about the other stuff. There was a soup with meatball-type things in it and some other side dishes. It was all pretty good, but really the only reason you should be here is for the cold sesame noodles.
