If you’ve ever needed a reason to visit Manhattan Beach, this is it. Sure, you can go to look at the ocean or whatever, but let’s be real, Manhattan Beach Post is clearly the best thing about Manhattan Beach. Chef David LeFevre is a Charlie Trotter protege, meaning he’s been vetted and his skills are real. Don’t believe me? Eat his food. Still don’t believe me? Then…you are a dumb person. Manhattan Beach Post sticks to casual and accessible seasonally inspired shared plates despite LeFevre’s fine dining training and experience. It’s approachable and comfortable and done quite well. And if you’re wondering why it’s called Manhattan Beach Post, apparently it’s located in what was once the Manhattan Beach Post Office. So all they really had to do was scratch off the ‘Office’ on the sign. A dollar saved is a dollar earned, baby!
Bacon Cheddar Biscuits
People love bacon, people love cheddar, and people love biscuits. Turns out when you combine all those things people love that too. I didn’t find it to be particularly amazing, but order this otherwise other people who’ve been here will yell at you.
