If you don’t like spicy food, you can go ahead and just skip this whole thing, because what makes this Mongolian hot pot so delicious is their spicy soup base. It’s similar to the Schezuan style of spice, in that it numbs the mouth as it burns. Some people can’t take it, but I’m not a little girl so I suck it up. I eat lava on a daily basis, son! I brush my teeth with ghost peppers! Seriously though, this stuff is pretty spicy. But it’s also one of my favorite hot pot places so I’ve learned to deal with the burning and I’d recommend you do the same. Their non-spicy soup is good too, but it’s nowhere near as delicious as the hot stuff.

Half & Half (half spicy, half original, served in a yin-yang pot) – Get this. You get the spicy soup base but if it gets to be too intense you can rinse your palette with the regular one. Win win win. What’s that third win for? For being such a handsome devil, you.

Supreme Lamb Shoulder (New Zealand lamb, sliced paper thin)
Supreme Fatty Beef (hand rolled, thinly sliced boneless beef short rib)

Fresh thick noodle – So chewy. So delicious. And soaked in the spicy soup broth? Oh man, have they invented an automatic noodle to mouth delivery system yet? I’ll take three.

Lamb skewers – A little dry, but the flavors are solid. Like my erection for this hot pot place. Over the line? I laugh at your line. Hah hah hah…hah.
