Beef Shawarma (Marinated Top Sirloin steak, flame-broiled; thinly sliced and served with onion mix, tomatoes, tahini sauce and Hammos dip)
Carousel Restaurant is a Lebanese restaurant in Glendale. Apparently they have belly dancing on weekends, but I’m an idiot so I happened to eat here on a night without belly dancing. Judging on the food alone the place was fairly average. I can only imagine what it’s like with half-naked women twirling about the place. I’m not a scientist, but according to my calculations sexy dancing women make food taste better. Don’t believe me? I’ve got a chart and everything.
NOTE: I’m assuming the belly dancers are sexy women but for all I know they could be overweight men. In which case who knows how the food will taste, because it’d just end up puked all over the floor anyway.

Jallab – It’s a drink made from carob, dates, grape molasses and rose water, and topped with pine nuts.

Vegetable medley

Cabbage Salad

Seasoned pita bread

Beef Shawarma onion-parsley mix

Beef Shawarma Hammos dip

Fret Glace’ (Their signature dessert; heated Basma a la mode topped vanilla ice cream, caramle, and crushed pistachios)
