Hollingshead's Delicatessen is a family owned deli that's run by generations of Hollingsheads. It's tucked away in a little shopping plaza in Orange and when you walk in you're assaulted by beer. Beer everywhere. Bottles of beer, cans of beer, beer signs, beer spigots, pretty much anything having to do with beer they've got plenty of in here. There's a possibility that Mr. Hollingshead has a drinking problem. He may also have a football problem, since the place is also covered in Green Bay Packers periphinelia. I ordered two sandwiches because I was feeling particularly hungry, and I'm glad I did since neither was particularly filling. You've got plenty of sandwich and beer options, and when you order, instead of getting a number you get a card with the name of a beer on it. That's right, they call out the name of a beer when your order is ready. Even if the sandwiches were terrible (which they aren't) there's a homey charm to this place. If you enjoy sandwiches I'm pretty sure you'll like this place. And if you enjoy beer I'm pretty sure you'll love this place. And if you enjoy all of the above along with the Packers, you might end up moving into this place.
Great Scott (smoked turkey, bacon, avocado, swiss, mayo, honey mustard, lettuce, onions, on squaw) - Pretty standard turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich. They use some super soft bread though, so the whole thing melts in your mouth like...like mashed potatoes. Yeah. Like mashed potatoes. Man, I'm good with analogies.
Beef & Blue (roast beef, blue cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce on sourdough) - Honestly, this one was a little dry. I'm not sure if it was the beef or the combination with the blue cheese, but I'm glad I got a drink.
